A Strategy for Harder Grids
On tougher puzzles, try penciling in the few candidates each square could hold. When two squares in the same row, column or box can only hold the same two numbers, those numbers are spoken for, and you can cross them off everywhere else in that group. That often breaks the puzzle open.
